In the 1980’s, hardworking Amish and Mennonite farmers and craftsmen came to the Finger Lakes Region of New York from Lancaster County, PA. These hardworking, traditionally-minded folk saw the need for high quality, handcrafted services in their new community. They started small shops producing irresistible products without compromising affordability, quality workmanship, and true customer service.

David Burkholder is one such man. Growing up loving to explore and work on his family’s dairy farm, he took time to learn some woodworking with his grandfather. As he honed his craft in a neighbor’s wood shop building quality furniture, David dreamed of having his own shop to work from home.

December 2019, David began building his first custom kitchen in his new workshop.
